Bungalow for Mr. Chandrakant Patil, at Pune.



The site was located on the outskirts of Pune. The total area of the site is 250 sq.m.  A three bedroom house was to be designed for the client Mr. Chandrakant Patil. According to the by-laws a 3M setback was left from all the sides of the site, and so was the building fitted onto the site. Car parking for 2 cars is provided near the entrance in setback itself. North is towards the right. The building is east facing. 


At the ground floor, the a sit-out followed the main entrance to the building. which is then followed by a huge lobby, a living room, Puja. Kitchen is provided in the south-east corner, according to vastu, Which has an attached store. Dinning area outside the kitchen. One bedroom at the ground floor in the south-west corner, with a common toilet.


When you climb up the staircase to reach the first floor, on the left is the children bedroom, with attached toilet. A master bedroom with attached toilet. Family Room with terrace and Kitchen. Now providing kitchen on ground floor as well as first floor was the clients demand, considering the future plans.

Centreline plan for the bungalow, to mark the column position on site. The distance of one column to other from the centre are mentioned. Also the column centre distance from the Origin is measured and marked on the site. Diagonal distance PR is to ensure the minor calculation differences.
